March Potluck:
It's that time--to get "Gardening Encouraged"!
Saturday, March 12th, 2011; 6 - 8 p.m.
Following our plant-based potluck, our presentation this month will be focused on gardening for vegetables. Nate Pederson will lead a panel of newbies and experienced gardeners as a means to get us all motivated to soil our hands for our health and environment--and to also motivate us to encourage our own neighborhoods. It is time, Kentucky! Something for everyone, no matter what your background or capability. Please come!-- and invite friends/relatives.
As an added bonus, a brief primer on health and vitality will be given by a local chiropractor, Dr. Shawn Martin, with an introduction by macrobiotic chef Mary Jeanne O Farrell. Does this not start looking like an event firing on all cylinders?!
Announcements will be given (pertaining to healthy food and behavior change), and a general ruckus and melee will result from raffling fun and healthy items with a high-win ratio. Why not come? Why not invite friends?

6:00 PM Plant-based/Vegan/veggie Potluck (This is Earthsave's central tenet.)
7:00 PM -- 2011 is the year of the backyard garden. And Dr. Martin.
8:30 PM Enviro/Health/Food/Ethic music and conversation
Special Event: Just after the speaker, there will be a special showing of Carbon Nation -- Inspiring in the midst of alot of confusion and consternation about the climate/environment.
